📱 No traditional account login

AfterText does not require you to create an email/password account or sign in with Google. On first launch we generate an anonymous app user ID stored on your device. That ID is used to associate your analyses, usage limits, and subscription status with your installation.

📦 Information we collect

Information you provide

• Profile preferences: gender, age range, and relationship goal (for coaching context)
• Conversation content: text you paste, quick-start prompts, and coach messages you type
• Screenshots / photos: chat screenshots or images you choose to upload for analysis (via the system photo picker)
• Support email: only if you contact us (for example elfionmobi@gmail.com)

Information created by the app / backend

• Anonymous user ID and premium / quota status
• Analysis history (scores, flags, coaching notes, suggested replies) stored on our servers so you can revisit threads
• Purchase / entitlement status via Google Play Billing and RevenueCat (we do not receive or store your full payment card details)

Device, diagnostics, and analytics

• Firebase Analytics: approximate app usage (screens/features), device model, OS version, app version, and advertising / instance identifiers as processed by Google
• Firebase Crashlytics: crash and error reports to keep the app stable
• Local preferences: language, dark mode, and similar settings stored on your device

• To analyze conversations and generate coaching insights and reply suggestions
• To personalize guidance using your optional profile preferences
• To enforce free daily limits and unlock Premium features
• To show and restore your analysis history
• To improve reliability, performance, and product quality

🤖 Artificial intelligence processing

To provide coaching, conversation text and/or screenshots you submit are processed by our backend (Cloudflare Workers and related Cloudflare infrastructure, including D1 database storage) and by OpenAI (or a comparable AI provider we may use) as a data processor for generating analysis and suggestions. AI outputs are automated suggestions — not professional, legal, or medical advice.

📊 Third-party services

AfterText uses the following third parties (each with their own privacy policies):

• Cloudflare — API hosting and database storage
• OpenAI — AI analysis and reply generation
• Google Play Billing — subscription payments
• RevenueCat — subscription / entitlement management
• Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) — usage analytics and crash reporting

We do not currently show third-party advertisements (no AdMob ads in AfterText).

💳 Purchases

Premium subscriptions (for example weekly or monthly) are processed by Google Play. RevenueCat helps verify and sync entitlement status with our backend. Payment card numbers are handled by Google, not by Elfion Mobile.

🔐 Data security

• Network traffic to our API uses HTTPS
• Access to production systems is limited to authorized operators
• We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure

🌍 International transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country (including the United States and other regions where our providers operate). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.

👶 Children’s privacy

AfterText is intended for users 18 years of age or older only. It is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete related data.

🗑️ Retention and deletion

• Analysis and profile-related data are kept while your account (anonymous ID) remains active and as needed to provide the service
• Uninstalling the app removes local device data but does not automatically delete server-side history tied to your anonymous ID
• To request deletion of server-side data, email elfionmobi@gmail.com with subject AfterText - Delete my data and include your app user ID if available (or enough detail for us to locate your record). We will process requests within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention needs

📝 Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR-style rules), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
