Ourlit (iOS/Android package identifier mobi.elfion.ourlit) is a home-screen widget app published by Elfion Mobile (“we”, “us”, “our”). You describe a personal moment (or pick a type and style); Ourlit builds a calculated, art-directed widget for your lock screen / home screen.
This Privacy Policy explains what stays on your device, what may be sent when you use optional AI suggest, and how purchases work. By using Ourlit, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Short version: Widget titles, dates, quotes, and photos live on your device. Optional AI suggest sends only the text prompt (and limited technical metadata) to our Cloudflare-hosted API—never your photo binary. There is no user account and no third-party ad network in the App.
This Policy applies to personal data processed in connection with Ourlit on mobile devices and our backend API (Cloudflare Workers, e.g. ourlit-api.*.workers.dev or a production domain). It does not cover Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party sites we do not control.

The API returns a structured widget patch (type, layout, style, copy suggestions). Photo bytes are never uploaded for AI. Cached or logged prompts, if retained briefly for rate limits or reliability, are not sold and are not used to build advertising profiles.
Payments are processed by Apple or Google. We may receive entitlement status through RevenueCat and/or store APIs to unlock Pro features and restore purchases. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
If you email us, we process your email address and message content to respond.

Network access is used for optional AI suggest, subscription entitlement checks, and similar app functions—not for uploading your photo library.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your prompts to train unrelated third-party foundation models for advertising unless we clearly disclose a change and obtain any consent required by law.
Where GDPR-style rules apply, we process data under: performance of a contract (providing the App); legitimate interests (security, rate limits, product reliability); consent where required (e.g. photo access); and legal obligation when disclosure or retention is required.
Providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) offered by those providers.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or asset sale (with notice where required).
Because there is no cloud widget account, uninstalling Ourlit removes local widget data (including the shared container home-screen widgets read from). Cancel any paid subscription in your Apple or Google account settings separately.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can decline photo access, avoid AI suggest, or uninstall at any time. For privacy requests, contact us below.
Ourlit is rated for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher digital-consent age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of law. If you believe a child provided data inappropriately, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
API traffic uses HTTPS. On-device storage uses platform sandboxing and App Groups as designed by Apple/Google. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; keep your device and store accounts up to date.
If you use Ourlit from outside the country where our servers or providers operate, information related to AI suggest or subscriptions may be transferred across borders as described above.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may be noted in the App or store listing. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
